Uso Eficiente de Fertilizantes é tema de simpósio
Começou, nesta terça-feira, dia 27, no Teatro Marista, a segunda edição do Simpósio sobre Boas Práticas para o Uso Eficiente de Fertilizantes. Durante a solenidade de abertura, o diretor geral do Instituto Internacional de Nutrição de Plantas do Brasil (IPNI), Luís Ignácio Prochnow, informou que o Instituto começou suas atividades em janeiro de 2007 com a missão de pesquisar e educar sobre o manejo responsável dos nutrientes das plantas, levando em conta os aspectos agronômicos, econômicos, ambiental e social. A entidade, que tem como carro-chefe o Programa de Boas Práticas, já elaborou três livros na área, enfocando o Contexto Mundial e Práticas de Suporte; Nutrientes; e Culturas. Atualmente está na etapa de viajar pelo País repassando o conhecimento no segmento.
