Universidade do Peru concede título a professor da UEM
O professor Luiz Regis Prado, do Departamento de Direito Público da UEM, recebeu, no dia 14, o título de Doctor Honoris Causa concedido pela Universidade Nacional de San Agustín, na cidade de Arequipa, Peru, por sua notável contribuição às ciências jurídicas nas últimas décadas e por seus méritos acadêmicos, profissionais e de produção científica. A procuradora geral da UEM, Sônia Letícia de Mello Cardoso, destaca que Prado é um professor entusiasmado e comprometido com a academia, e demonstra o seu valor com a enorme produção científica, reconhecida tanto no âmbito nacional quanto internacional. A cerimônia ocorreu na Sala de Colações da UNSA, em Arequipa, presidida pelo reitor encarregado, Victor Hugo Linares Huaco, e contou com a presença várias autoridades daquela instituição. Após o evento, Prado proferiu a conferência Dignidade da Pessoa Humana, em um Simpósio de Direito Internacional.
